Ed became Head Professional at Lilley Brook Golf Club in May 2022 after being Head Professional at Cirencester Golf Club for 18 years. He qualified as a PGA Professional in 1996, starting at Cotswold Hills Golf Club where he had been a junior member.
Ed has gained a wealth of experience from some of the game’s top coaches and sports psychologists. His approach to the game is to keep it simple, by identifying a player’s strengths and weaknesses, allowing each individual to play to those strengths whilst working on their weaker points. His coaching is tailored to meet the needs and aspirations of all golfers both right and left handed.. He has an understanding of how limitations in the body effect the players' ability to carry out a powerful and repeatable golf swing. He can unlock your golfing potential through a precise and knowledgeable swing assessment and club fitting. His group coaching and individual sessions are both varied and educational but the same time, they are enjoyable. Ed likes to encourage his pupils to play to their strengths and to enjoy the game of golf.
Ed regularly competes on the West of England PGA circuit with a goal to keep improving his own game.

Ed and his assistant, Luke, provide lessons for all abilities of golfers using the latest technology. They have a fully fitted indoor studio with the latest GC Quad launch monitor to ensure that you have all of the data you need to track your golf swing; so whatever the weather you will have the opportunity to have a lesson and work on your game.
Our fully stocked Pro Shop is next to our putting green and has the latest equipment, including clubs from Titleist, Callaway, Ping, Mizuno and Taylormade. The shop also has the latest golfing attire. What's more, our Professional offers a Price Match Promise on all the goods in his shop.
