The Ladies Committee, chaired by the Lady Captain, look after the running of the Section and ensures that we have a full diary throughout the year, either qualifying or non-qualifying competitions, full details of which are in the Clubs Handbook.
Ladies Day is primarily on a Tuesday, however weekend golf, Medal competitions etc., is available for our Business ladies. The competition sign-up lists are always 3 weeks in advance and we encourage the ladies to mix and match throughout the year.
As per the norm of any club we have a variety of ‘special occasions’ all of which are very popular and usually include lunch/tea.
We have two teams (A & B) in the Cotswold & District Ladies Golf Alliance, with matches generally being held on Mondays. We also run a Friendly Team, with many clubs in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. These matches create interaction with other clubs and have proved to be most popular.
County and Vets Representatives form part of the Ladies’ Committee who encourage us to enter various competitions.

Inter-active Mixed Matches are also increasingly popular, and the Bank Holiday Mixed Matches are always full with a tremendous atmosphere in the Club over dinner.
The Ladies Locker-Room is the hub for the Section with full details on our Competitions, Handicaps, County/Vets Matches, EWGA and Social matters clearly displayed on the various Notice Boards.
